McCain and Obama duke it out in preparation for Tuesday and Lil Wayne isn’t dead. That’s just a rumor. It’s not on MTV, VH1, or Fox News.

Apparently, someone said Lil Wayne had been shot.  I don’t really know what’s up with that but it’s all the rage on the interweb.  I conducted my own research (read: hopping about from news source to news source) and all I found were articles pertaining to the birth of his son.  For the record, I checked Mtv, Vh1, Fox News, and CNN.  I find those websites to be fairly credible.  I mean, they have their own channels.   I jest but seriously.  Ha.  I highly doubt the credibility of the Weezy statement.  I mean, the man is on every song on the radio.  That, in my opinion, warrants “Breaking News” kind of coverage.  It’s just not happening.

And on to other pertinent opinionation.  Yes, I realize that isn’t exactly proper.  Not caring.

Tuesday, November 4, is rapidly approaching.  It’s important that those of you who are reading this remove yourselves from the chair, couch, bed and let your voice be heard.  I’m not here to push my political views on anyone.  Let us get that straight.  I’ll be voting McCain / Palin on Tuesday but that’s neither here nor there.  I have friends who have/will be choosing Obama.  I have heard rumors that people are still opting for Ron Paul.  The great, wonderous, VAST, and overwhelming point is that they are voting.  That’s really all that matters.

Too many people succumb to complacency.  It’s sad.  In all the years of my youth, I have voted.  I was lucky enough to turn 18 in a Presidential election year.  I still remember being overjoyed at my chance to finally scream my opinion via electronic polling booth.  Since then, I have participated in one other election.  This will be my third.  I still feel the same excitement and fear at the coming change.

I have noticed a difference in collective attitude this time.  It seems as though the hostility following the masses is palpable.  You can reach out and touch the anger behind voters choices.  Why?  It’s not necessarily something worth coming to blows over.  Still, I’ve observed many a conversation turn nasty in regard to McCain and Obama.  It’s a bit rich, folks.  One will win and one will lose.  That’s just the way it goes.  It matters but it doesn’t.  We have to live with the end result.  We’re all in this together.  No one is suffering the slings and arrows of misfortunate financial decisions alone.  Why not just be united as a nation, maybe not in choice, but it stoic acceptance?  The man who wins has a world of poblems to solve that will inevitably affect us all.  I just pray that God puts the best one in office.  Even if that is Obama.  Even if that is Ron Paul.

This isn’t complacency.  I’m choosing and for my own reasons.  I just refuse to throw myself headlong into the war of words.  The be all: We all have reasons for picking our candidate.  They are the right reasons for us and THAT is what matters.  This is America.  United we stand, guys.

Currently spining: Nothing.  I’m tired.  God Bless!
