My Obscurities

Just curious.  Google Image both and check for yourself.  I’m sure you’ll find I am correct.

I am happy to report that yesterday’s misfortune has been resolved.  Thank God.  I’m finally at peace with Fin Aid.  All is well.

You know, I like You Tube.  It’s a forum for all manner of ridiculous, important, trivial, and fascinating examples of the human condition.  Mostly, though, it’s just neat.  I like that I can type Socks into the search box and Mozilla will then suggest that I also search for Socks in Mouth, Socks in Face, and Socks Song.  Just to name a few.  Most importantly, though, I find it fascinating that there are myriad videos devoted to that topic.  I mean, come on.  Socks?  That’s crazy.  Nobody thinks about socks.  Not really.  I mean, I care about the insulation between my shoes and feet but only because it’s cold outside.  I don’t spend my days pondering on the greatness of the sock.  It’s just fabric.  

But, you know, I probably should not make such a hasty generalization.  Obviously certain people care.  They are concerned enough to create the Sock Song.  I salute you, young minstrels.  You make my random searching all the more merrier.

This has absolutely no depth.  How awesome.  I know some of you feel me, though, on the stupid searches.  Admit it, if not to me than quietly to yourselves.  You find yourself bored (only occasionally, of course) and type mundane crap into your search boxes.  Google, Yahoo, Ask Jeeves (is that still operational?), what have you.  It’s funny.  I’ve come to realize that I’m easily amused, like a cat, if you will, and I refuse to believe that I am alone in my randomness.    

I think I’ll start a support group.  Hi, my name is Kelly and I have nothing better to do.   As is evident by this entry.
